Early Signs of Iodine Deficiency (Watch for THESE symptoms)
Iodine is critical to producing thyroid hormone which means if you don’t have enough of it you will experience the symptoms of iodine deficiency. These symptoms coincide with low thyroid symptoms because (shocker), when your iodine is low your thyroid will be low as well. Symptoms that you aren’t getting enough iodine may include: Fatigue or low energy, weight gain, cold intolerance, constipation, hair loss, dry skin, a puffy face or swelling in the face and eyes, depresion, brain fog, and feeling cold all of the time.
