What is meant by Post Prandial Blood Sugar test and when is it done? – Dr. Samit Thakur
Postprandial blood glucose is done after you have had a meal, after your fasting blood sugar has been taken. After you have had a meal, it is taken after two hours to estimate the blood sugar and the influence of the diet on your blood sugar. It should be between 70 to 140 mg per decilitre. If it is above that, then we have to do additional tests to find out if you have any diabetic kind of ailment.
