No injuries have been reported, the company said.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-d3f872\" class=\"body-graf\">Consumers are urged not to eat the recalled ice cream and discard the product. The company said customers should not return recalled items to stores.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-7d2d85\" class=\"body-graf\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/straus-family-creamery-voluntarily-recalls-select-flavors-organic-ice-cream-due-potential-presence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDA\u2019s notice<\/a> said the recalled organic products were distributed in 17 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-f7bc13\" class=\"body-graf\">The recall includes:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"anchor-636940\" class=\"break-above body-ul body-list-el\">\n<li>Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, pint size, best by Dec. 23, 2026, and Dec. 28, 2026<\/li>\n<li>Strawberry Ice Cream, quart size, best by Dec. 24, 2026<\/li>\n<li>Strawberry Ice Cream, pint size, best by Dec. 25, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"anchor-4c64fe\" class=\"break-above body-ul body-list-el\">\n<li>Cookie Dough Ice Cream, pint size, best by Dec. 26, 2026<\/li>\n<li>Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream, quart size, best by Dec. 27, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul id=\"anchor-3a16fb\" class=\"break-above body-ul body-list-el\">\n<li>Mint Chip Ice Cream, pint size, best by Dec. 30, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"anchor-6dfed9\" class=\"endmark body-graf\">UPC numbers for the recalled products can be found on the FDA\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/straus-family-ice-cream-recall-rcna345485\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>California-based Straus Family Creamery is recalling multiple organic ice cream products in pint and quart sizes due to the potential presence of metal fragments, according to a notice published Friday by the Food and Drug Administration.
